Trip to Global Climate March in Vancouver, November 29th

Let’s get out there and show our new Prime Minister that Climate Change is an issue his country cares about!

On November 29th millions of people will be marching in over 1600 communities around the world to demand that politicians acknowledge that climate change is a crisis. People are rallying before the start of the United Nations Climate Change Summit (COP21) in the Global Climate March, which is expected to be the largest climate mobilization ever.

There is a march organised in Vancouver and we want as many people as possible to come from Whistler to help make this march HUGE and awesome.

We’re hoping to hire a bus from Whistler so we can all go together and reduce our impact. We’ll be going for a late lunch after the march before heading back to Whistler. Please go to the Facebook event page and post on the wall if you’d like to carpool.  (We recognise that we’re contributing to climate change by driving to Vancouver but we feel in this instance the benefits outweigh the cost and we’re trying to make the transportation as low impact as we can.)
